Dr. Knox PAC is pleased to again offer the “Family Portraits Fundraiser” on Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at Waterfront Park from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Basil Cooper Photography is offering a special School’s Only Fundraiser. A sitting fee of $20.00 will be charged to reserve an appointment. Appointments will be booked every 15 minutes. Families will receive one free colour 8x10 portrait from a proof of their choice.
Please note these are Outdoor Shots at Waterfront Park, weather permitting.

All cheques must be payable to Dr. Knox PAC and can be dropped off at the School Office. To confirm your booking cheques must be received by Wednesday, April 14th, 2010.
Dr Knox Middle School - Parent Advisory Council
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) would like to welcome you to our information site. It is our goal to help you stay informed and involved in your child’s school.
At Dr. Knox, parents are always welcome!
WHAT IS P.A.C.?
The Parent Advisory Council is the officially recognized voice of parents at the school level.
All parents registered in the school are welcome to attend our meetings and activities.
Our goals are:
* to help you stay informed about your child’s school environment
* to provide opportunities for you to stay involved (see: How Can I Stay Involved?)
* to provide support to our teachers and school activities
* to present informational speakers on adolescent parenting topics

The PAC meetings are held in the school library at 7:00 pm on the following dates.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Yes, our children are becoming more capable and independent BUT they still need our involvement and support. Our goal is to help you stay involved through creating opportunities for parent involvement.
If you are interested in learning about any of these projects or other ways of how you can stay involved, please contact the PAC at drkpac@sd23.bc.ca or leave your name with the school office (call 250-870-5107).
